Where is my data stored?

All inventory data lives locally on your device in a SQLite database. Nothing is sent to our servers. If you uninstall the App, your data is permanently deleted.

How do AI features work?

AI features use your own OpenAI API key. Voice commands, photos, and text are sent directly from your device to OpenAI — we never see or store that data. You can get an API key at platform.openai.com.

Why is there a separate cost for AI usage?

The one‑time in‑app purchase ($4.99) unlocks the AI interface. Actual AI processing (voice transcription, image recognition, text‑to‑speech) is billed by OpenAI based on your token usage. This keeps the app price low and gives you full control over your spending.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Prosop, go to Settings → Premium Access, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

Can I export my inventory?

Yes. Prosop supports CSV export and import so you can back up your data or move it between devices.

My API key shows as invalid — what should I do?

Verify the key at platform.openai.com. Make sure it hasn't expired and that your OpenAI account has billing enabled with available credits.
